Michael CapellasChairman of the Board

Michael Capellas, CEO of strategic technology advisory firm Capellas Partners, joined the JDA Board in October 2016 and was named Chairman in January 2017. Capellas currently serves on the Boards of Cisco and Flextronics, and on the Advisory Board of Kony. He is also a Senior Advisor to Blackstone.

Capellas’ career as a global technology leader has spanned from innovative technology start-ups to large corporate turnarounds. For 15 years he worked for Schlumberger, followed by positions at Oracle and SAP. In 1999, Capellas was named CEO of Compaq Computer Corporation and in 2000 added the title of Chairman. In the following years, he served as President of Hewlett Packard, Chairman and CEO of Worldcom (renamed MCI), and Chairman and CEO of First Data Corporation. From 2009-2012, Capellas served as founding Chairman and CEO of VCE, the Virtual Computing Company, a joint venture between Cisco, EMC, and VMware which developed and commercialized an innovative platform for cloud computing. While at VCE, he also served as Co-Chair of the Federal Commission on Deployment of the Cloud, comprised of 71 leading companies and universities, who finalized a set of recommendations for driving U.S. cloud adoption. He graduated from Kent State University and lives in Atlanta, Georgia.

Lloyd G. “Buzz” WaterhouseVice Chairman of the Board

Lloyd (Buzz) Waterhouse joined the JDA Board of Directors and New Mountain Capital as a senior advisor in 2015 and was named vice chairman in January 2017. Waterhouse currently serves as the interim president and CEO of McGraw-Hill Education, one of the world’s largest learning sciences companies. He previously served as the president and CEO of McGraw-Hill Education from June 2012 until April 2014 where he was responsible for the separation of McGraw-Hill Education from McGraw-Hill Financial, standing up the company and its subsequent sale to Apollo Global Management. Prior to that, he was also the CEO of Harcourt Education, a provider of instructional materials, e-learning and testing services for the global education market. Earlier in his career, he was CEO and chairman of The Reynolds & Reynolds Company, the leading provider of automotive retailing solutions, and held numerous roles at IBM. He led their strategy and business development functions during Lou Gerstner’s tenure and subsequent turn-around, launched IBM Global Services, and was president of Asia Pacific Services Corporation.

Girish RishiChief Executive Officer

Since becoming CEO of JDA Software in February 2017, Girish Rishi has emphasized a values-driven culture and a growth mindset at the company, establishing a Customer First approach and driving a product pivot toward edge technologies. As the largest supply chain software company, JDA acknowledges and embraces its responsibilities to innovate and deliver solutions that transform its customers’ supply chains. Rishi leverages his background in product development and go-to-market strategies across a number of leading companies including Symbol Technologies where he led the company’s EMEA operations, at Motorola where he led the Enterprise division, and at Tyco International where he was responsible for the company’s retail solutions business and the North America services business. Rishi spent the first 15 years of his career in early-to-mid stage entrepreneurial companies learning the value of co-innovating with customers and delivering differentiated solutions. Rishi travels extensively for work, reads voraciously and in his downtime, hangs out with his wife and two boys. He serves on the Board of Directors of Insight Enterprises and is a member of the Board of Regents at the University of Hartford.

Naveen Bhatia

Naveen Bhatia, Directeur pour Tactical Opportunities Group de Blackstone, a rejoint le conseil d’administration de JDA en novembre 2016. Avant de rejoindre Tactical Opportunities en 2013, M. Christos M. Cotsakos, Ph.D.

Dr. Christos M. Cotsakos joined the JDA Board of Directors in 2014. Cotsakos has been a Senior Advisor, at New Mountain since 2013. He is Founder, Chairman and CEO of Pennington Ventures, LLC, a privately held new media, technology, strategic management and advisory company. Formerly, Cotsakos served as Chairman and CEO of E*TRADE Group, Inc., where he took the company public and pioneered the personal online investment market. He also served as global Co-CEO of ACNielsen, Founding Co-Managing Partner at ArrowPath Ventures, Founding Chairman, CEO and President of EndPlay, Inc. and served in several senior executive positions at Federal Express Corporation. Cotsakos holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of London, an MBA from Pepperdine University and a B.A. in Communications from William Paterson University. He is also a decorated combat veteran who served with the 101st Airborne Infantry.

Peter Masucci

Peter Masucci became a member of the JDA Board in 2010. Masucci joined New Mountain in 2004 and serves as Managing Director. He was previously associated with KKR, where he focused on private equity investments across a number of industries. From 1997 to 2000, he was an analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Finance Departments of Goldman Sachs, where he evaluated and executed a number of strategic transactions. In addition to JDA, he is a director at InComm Holdings, Legends Hospitality, OneDigital, Sparta Systems and DRB Systems. He previously served as the Chairman of the Board of SNL Financial and ACA Compliance Group, and was also involved with Deltek, Inmar and Valet Waste. Masucci received his B.A. with highest distinction in Finance with an Accounting emphasis from the University of Iowa in 1997 where he was an Academic All-American. He received his M.B.A from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2004.

Viral Patel

Viral Patel joined the JDA Board in October 2016. He is a Senior Managing Director in the Tactical Opportunities Group at Blackstone Since joining Blackstone in 2005, Patel has been involved in the execution of the firm's investments in Ai Media, Cloudreach, Cylance, Gates, Hidrovias, JDA, Milestone Equipment Corp, Penn Engineering, TITUS and Targa Resources. Prior to joining Tactical Opportunities in 2012, Patel was a Managing Director with Blackstone Advisory Partners where he focused on structured finance transactions across several industries including financial institutions, consumer, media, and healthcare. Before joining Blackstone, Patel was a member of the Credit Suisse and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Structured Products businesses. Patel holds a B.S. in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University. He serves on the Boards of Ai Media, Cloudreach, Hidrovias, JDA, Penn Engineering and TITUS.

Jack Qian

Jack Qian joined the JDA Board in October 2016. Qian joined New Mountain in 2007 as Managing Director. He previously worked in the Global Technology Group at Morgan Stanley in New York. He received his B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Yale University in 2005. He is currently a director of Ciox Health, Convey Health, Equian, IRI, JDA Software, Sparta Systems, DRB Systems, and Revint Solutions.

Anushka M. Sunder

Anushka M. Sunder a intégré le conseil d’administration de JDA en novembre 2016.
